Cognitive Character of Proverbs About Life in Shakarim’s Poetry

The article analyzes the cognitive function of proverbs and sayings about life in several poems by Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly. The research topic is aimed at substantiating the cognitive, educational, linguistic and cultural significance of moral words in the spiritual heritage of folklore in the author’s use. The purpose of the scientific research is to analyze proverbs and sayings in Shakarim’s poems and determine their role in promoting values in human life and strengthening the foundations of the national worldview. The study analyzed the structure and essence of proverbs and sayings used in the poet’s poems, and assessed their place in the social and spiritual context. The scientific significance of the study is based on an understanding of the national character of proverbs and sayings in Shakarim’s poetry and the formation of a new approach to literary heritage from the point of view of linguistic cognition. And the practical significance is characterized by the definition of the possibility of using these proverbs in the modern system of upbringing and education. Textual analysis, comparative historical method, case study, conceptual and logical approaches were used as research methods. In the course of the work, proverbs and sayings about life in poems were systematically analyzed, semantic features and cognitive significance were revealed. The results of the study showed that the proverbs and sayings in Shakarim’s poems are aimed at understanding the meaning of life, calling for morality, education and work. These findings contribute to understanding the spiritual values of the Kazakh people and make it possible to adapt them to the needs of today. The practical meaning of the work is to use the results obtained in the field of linguistics, sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, ethnolinguistics, and can also be used in the spiritual and moral education of young people.
