The meaning of the «Speech» concept in proverbs and sayings

Abstract

In Kazakh linguistics, it is of great importance to understand the nature of the «speech» concept, revealing its essence and function by differentiation and analysis of proverbs and sayings related to speech and language. The first theoretical and practical conclusions about language and speech science are contained in Kazakh proverbs and sayings. The definition of language and speech, the characteristics and the function of speech, the connection between speaker and listener, the pragmatic relationship between speaker and listener, the influence of human speech on the listener, the aesthetics of speech, the standards used by human speech in modern speech communication are also analyzed in the article.
