Abstract

This article analyzes Khalel Dosmukhamedov’s contributions to the spiritual and cultural development of the Kazakh people. It examines his work in language purity, adaptation of borrowed words, the formation of the national education system, and medical enlightenment. Additionally, the article explores his views on the issues faced by Kazakh children studying in Russian schools and the consequences of these challenges. The role of the Alash leaders of the Western region in strengthening national consciousness and the ideas of independence, as well as their efforts to elevate the spiritual level of Kazakh society, are described. Special attention is given to Khalel Dosmukhamedov’s perspectives on the principles of borrowing and adapting foreign words, the importance of teaching the native language, and the development of national education and culture as a foundation for spiritual revival. The legacy of the Alash leaders of the Western region is considered an invaluable asset that contributes to preserving the national identity of the Kazakh people, shaping ideas of justice and unity, and fostering the spiritual consciousness of future generations. The scientific discoveries and practical recommendations of Khalel Dosmukhamedov can influence modern language policy and cultural development in Kazakh society. This article aims to highlight the relevance of Khalel Dosmukhamedov’s ideas for contemporary Kazakhstan.
