Problems of Syntactic Norm

Abstract

The article examines the issue of norms in the syntactic system of the Kazakh language. One of the key issues in speech culture is linguistic norms. Norms, representing systematization and order, function as both linguistic and social categories that appear in all forms of language use.

The article analyzes the use of verb phrases in the predicative form from the perspective of linguistic norms and provides their description. The influence of analogy is also discussed when addressing norms in the syntactic system. Some synonymous forms emerge due to the law of analogy. Despite the existence of synonymous variants of each syntactic unit, their usage follows specific norms. Syntactic norms are primarily determined by the combinability and usage features of syntactic units, as well as their grammatical properties and systemic relations. This issue is explored in detail in the article.
