Abstract

The purpose of the research is to assess its place and influence in the education system by comprehensively analyzing the advantages and possible negative consequences of artificial intelligence (AI) in language teaching. The main areas of AI integration in the context of language learning are: designing interactive exercises, developing conversational skills, automated correction and evaluation, and improving learning outcomes. The idea is to create individual learning trajectories, increase learning motivation, and increase the accessibility of language learning through the effective use of AI tools.

Scientific and practical significance – the research results provide teachers and educational organizations with a clear understanding of the activities and limitations of AI in the classroom. These techniques are suitable for use in teaching the Kazakh language and contribute to the development of innovative pedagogical experience.

The research methodology includes a literature review, comparative analysis, practical case study (Duolingo, ChatGPT, Qazaq AI, etc.) and a qualitative conclusion by the author. The combination of methods allowed the study to obtain a systematic structure and reliable results.

The key results and analysis showed that AI provides interactivity in language learning, time savings, an individual approach to learning, feedback and an objective assessment. However, disadvantages such as a lack of direct relationships with a person, the risk of spreading erroneous or misinformation, and limited creativity and critical thinking have been identified.
